Milton Andreou is the Managing Partner and Founder of AK Law and a highly experienced solicitor, leading a respected property practice that represents property developers, investors, landlords, tenants and business owners across the UK.
Milton advises on all aspects of non-contentious commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant issues, complex lease arrangements, and secured lending and refinancing. With more than twenty-five years of experience, he combines commercial pragmatism with deep technical knowledge to deliver clear, practical, and commercially astute advice tailored to each client’s objectives.

Thomas Roberts
PARTNER
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2015, Thomas is the Residential Partner at AK Law Solicitors. He deals with all aspects of residential property law, including the purchase and sale of homes, together with both contentious and non-contentious lease extensions, leasehold enfranchisement and deeds of variation.
Alongside his residential work, Thomas also has significant experience in commercial property matters and works closely with local agents and a wide range of clients. His aim is to provide a clear, straightforward and client-focused service, ensuring each transaction progresses smoothly and efficiently while supporting clients in achieving their goals. He is recognised for his approach and commitment to keeping clients informed throughout.

Jonathan Riding
PARTNER
Jonathan is a property litigation solicitor acting primarily for privately owned property investment companies with extensive commercial portfolios. His clients value pragmatism and direct access to a partner who understands their businesses.
His practice covers the full range of contentious property matters involving commercial and residential assets, including development and construction disputes, professional negligence, lease renewals, dilapidations, and tenant claims arising from alleged breaches of covenant. He acts in complex, high-value proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court, as well as at mediation. He advises throughout the dispute process, aiming to prevent issues and, when needed, pursuing or defending claims with a focus on practical, commercially sound, effective outcomes.

Cey qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has developed extensive experience in commercial property law over her career. With more than 17 years of practice, she advises on all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant matters, as well as the acquisition, sale and refinancing of commercial premises. She is known for delivering clear, practical and commercially focused advice, ensuring clients understand each stage of a transaction.
Cey is highly accessible and committed to building strong professional relationships, helping matters progress smoothly and efficiently. Her long-standing experience allows her to anticipate issues early and provide valuable guidance and support to both clients and colleagues throughout their matters.

Sanjeev Verma
PRACTICE MANAGER & CHIEF RISK OFFICER
Sanjeev has worked for both FCA and SRA regulated firms in the City of London, gaining strong expertise in the regulatory landscape. He has led governance activities including Regulation 18 Firm-Wide Risk Assessments, insolvency matters, and client asset repatriation. At Smith & Williamson and PwC, he contributed to Special Administrations, advising on insolvency rules, broker sourcing, due diligence, and client migrations involving complex and delinquent assets, as well as red-flag jurisdictions.
Sanjeev has participated in LSB and SRA consultations and served on panels for trade bodies focused on governance frameworks in financial services and central securities depositories.

Lina Andreou
SOLICITOR
Lina joined the firm in 2018 and qualified as a solicitor in 2021. She deals with all aspects of residential property, including sales, purchases, lease extensions and remortgages. She has developed particular skill in managing complex leasehold matters and new-build purchases, and acts for a wide range of clients including first-time buyers, property investors and high-net-worth individuals.
Lina works closely with clients, agents and lenders to ensure transactions progress smoothly and are completed on time. Her aim is to manage each matter efficiently from instruction through to completion, while always prioritising her clients’ best interests and providing clear, supportive guidance throughout the process.

Lisa Fox
SOLICITOR
Lisa qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and, since joining AK Law in 2014, has continued to act for a wide range of clients on all aspects of non-contentious commercial property matters, with a particular focus on secured lending transactions.
She has built on the extensive experience she gained in City law firms and through in-house roles within major UK infrastructure and construction companies. This combination of experience provides her with valuable insight from both the client and legal adviser perspectives, allowing her to understand what clients need, anticipate potential issues and deliver clear, pragmatic solutions that support their commercial objectives effectively and help them achieve their goals successfully.

Dunja Ruzic
TRAINEE SOLICITOR
Dunja graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Law in 2017. Prior to relocating to London, she gained valuable experience working at the European Parliament in Brussels, which provided her with unique insight into international legal and policy frameworks.
Since joining AK Law, Dunja has developed a broad skill set across multiple areas of law, including residential conveyancing, commercial matters and litigation. She is currently a trainee solicitor at the firm, working within both the Residential Conveyancing and Litigation departments. Dunja combines her diverse experience with a methodical approach, ensuring each matter is handled efficiently while supporting clients and colleagues effectively.

Roshni Manani
PARALEGAL
Roshni holds a master’s degree in law and is currently working towards her SQE qualification. She joined the firm in 2025 and now works as a Paralegal in the Residential Property department. She brings several years of prior experience in this area, including her time at Foot Anstey, where she worked closely with lenders and agents to support smooth and efficient completions.
Roshni applies a methodical and organised approach to every matter, drawing on her strong technical knowledge and practical understanding of the conveyancing process. She is committed to meeting client expectations, maintaining clear communication throughout and consistently delivering a high standard of support on each instruction.

Katie Quirke-Luping
PARALEGAL
Katie was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2022. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington. Before joining AK Law, Katie gained two years’ experience at a well-regarded New Zealand law firm, where she worked on a wide variety of commercial and residential property matters.
Now based in London as part of the AK Law team, Katie is keen to further develop her expertise in UK property law and conveyancing. She is committed to providing thorough, client-focused support while building her professional network within the UK legal sector.
